Biography
Megan Willy is an animator and cultural anthropologist currently living in Concepción, Chile. Growing up, she lived all over the country as her father was in the military. This made her especially keen on cultural phenomenon and trends, a skill that greatly influences the themes of her artwork. She has an eclectic body of work that ranges from performance art to computer 3D animation. She was a conceptual science animator for NASA in Baltimore, MD USA for three years. Currently, she is teaching English at DuocUC in Concepción, Chile. In free time, she continues to build her portfolio while exploring Chilean culture. Megan soon will apply to graduate school and hopes to complete a program geared towards the application of a variety of media to communicate abstract ideas.
